DIGITAL FLYERS

I began my graphic design career immediately after graduating from high school in 1996, eager to pursue my passion for creativity and visual storytelling. At the time, I started by designing flyers and promotional materials for local businesses in my neighborhood, including shops, restaurants, and barbershops. These early projects were instrumental in honing my skills, giving me the opportunity to experiment with design while working directly with small business owners to help them reach their target audience.

Starting my career as a self-employed designer not only allowed me to gain hands-on experience but also taught me invaluable lessons about entrepreneurship, client relationships, and the importance of branding. It was a formative period in my life, where I learned how to navigate the business side of design—from meeting deadlines to managing client expectations and building long-term relationships. Those early years were filled with trial and error, but they shaped me into the designer I am today, teaching me the importance of both creativity and discipline in my craft.

As the years went by, I continued to refine my skills and expand my knowledge, working on larger and more complex projects, and collaborating with a wider range of clients. Fast forward nearly 30 years later, and I am still doing what I love—designing. What started as a small, neighborhood hustle has grown into a fulfilling and rewarding career. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far I’ve come, but it’s even more gratifying to know that I am still deeply passionate about what I do. The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I’m grateful for every step along the way. Designing remains at the core of my professional life, and I am as committed as ever to creating impactful, meaningful work.
