KASKADE X XSET [BREAKAWAY FESTIVAL]
In late May of 2024, I had the exciting opportunity to be contracted for a highly anticipated merchandise collaboration between the legendary EDM DJ Kaskade and the prominent gaming and lifestyle brand XSET. The goal of the collaboration was to create a visually striking and cohesive merchandise line that captured the energy of both brands, blending elements of the EDM and gaming cultures.
The design concept for this collection was inspired by a grunge aesthetic, infused with bold, neon-like colors to give the designs an edgy yet vibrant feel. The intention was to create a collection that not only appealed to Kaskade’s dynamic fanbase but also resonated with XSET’s gaming community, bridging the gap between music, gaming, and streetwear culture.
The merchandise program included a range of products, such as graphic tees, hoodies, caps, and vinyl stickers. Each item was carefully designed to embody the high-energy, bold spirit of both Kaskade’s music and XSET’s youthful, rebellious identity. Through this collaboration, I sought to bring together the raw, energetic vibe of the EDM world with the electrifying, neon-infused style of the gaming and streetwear scene, ensuring the final collection would be a statement piece for fans and collectors alike.
